Fallout: New California is an ambitious standalone prequel campaign mod for Fallout: New Vegas. We first caught wind of its existence in 2013—then known as Fallout: Project Brazil—despite it first being planned for Fallout 3. Now, after nine years of development, the project has entered its beta phase.
'So after many years, not only is BETA 200 playable from start to end credits with no major interruptions but it's stable and finally coming together as a finished thing,' says project leader Brandan Lee is this ModDB update. 'We still have bugs, and we still have defects, but it's approaching a level of polish you'd expect from a release ready product most of the time.'
Lee says that now New California is playable from start to finish, this is the first time he and his team have been able to step back and appreciate its scope. Against New Vegas' 65,000 lines of dialogue (a record at the time, says Lee) and Fallout 3's 40,000 lines, New California has over 14,000 lines of dialogue—delivered by 42 actors for 60 characters. Moreover, the mod boasts 12 endings, and offers multiple branching storylines along the way.

Lee also says in order to break up the Mojave's vast expanse, the mod introduces new outposts which are tied to New California's quests. Full details on that can be found in this post. Fallout: New Vegas is, obviously, unequivocally, the best Fallout in the series, so I for one look forward to New California's slant on its world.
Fallout 3 / New Vegas version work with both these games the same.
Requirement of the mod to work properly is hdr must be enabled in game video options. Most versions do not support hardware antialiasing, so do not enable it in game video options or in video driver control panel (especially important for AMD users), overwise you will see bugs (transparent objects is the most common artifact). Deferred rendering do not support antialiasing in dx9 and it used for higher blending quality of ambient occlusions and detailed shadows. Many software types have compatibility issues with the mod because they hook in to game process or graphics, so make sure you do not run anything like that. This includes Steam overlay, EVGA, Afterburner, Avast antivirus, EMET, D3D Overrider, Razor and Logitek utils. ENBoost memory manager is included in all versions after 0.202, if you don't need graphic effects, disable the mod in enbseries.ini Not many effects made, because engine use multipass rendering and 2_0 shaders, this require too much effort to modify manually (parallax for terrain only possible with rewriting shaders to 3_0). Implemented color and lighting corrections, programmable post processing effects, sun rays, ambient occlusions and indirect lighting, detailed shadows. Included default preset is not configured, download customized from other sites like Nexus or from the forum.

The music files for Radio New Vegas etc. Download serial number corel draw x8 serial number. live in (on my PC) the following folder as *.mp3's:

If you want to play your own tracks substitute your own mp3's for the existing ones, but be sure to keep the original filenames the same. Unfortunately this doesn't stop the DJ from introducing them as the original track.. but hey I'm roaming the wastes listening to Dancing Queen by ABBA!

Not the same, hell you cant listen to three dogs news AND have custom osts in F3 at the same time, or idk how. In new vegas you CAN.. and ive just played 3 and nv and i dont like the old music so im putting in new stuff, doesnt matter to me that what they advertise aint the same.
This doesn't work. You have to make sure that the new songs you are putting on are the exact same length as the song you are replacing, otherwise it will skip over to the next song once the length timer for the original song is over.
I don't know what happened, or what I did wrong, but all of the radio stations don't play music and some dialog from NPCs are inaudible. To top it off my game crashes EVERY time I exit it, no matter what.
You hear Mr. New Vegas give the news or introduce the song that's about to play, but when its supposed to come on, there's no sound, the in-game ambient soundtrack just plays over the silent radio stations, like Mojave music radio. I used extra radio station mods so the tracks didn't repeat to much, but those stations stopped working also. I completely deleted and then re-installed the game from steam and just tried it out with no mods and the stations didn't work right still. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem because I'm finding zero posts on the Internet about this issue. Please Help Note: I have the Ultimate Edition, running Windows 7 64 bit. The game used to run fine and it is 100% non-cracked, I bought it from steam and there's a receipt that proves it. Fallout 3 runs fine and has none of the issues listed.
